Couples ideally reserve their wedding photographer in Austria 9–12 months before the ceremony. In top regions Burgenland (Esterházy), Vienna (Karlskirche, Palais Coburg), Lower Austria (Göttweig Abbey, Schloss Laxenburg), and Styria (Aiola, Schloss Eggenberg, Schloss Gamlitz), peak-season dates from May to October are often booked 12+ months in advance. For Mallorca destination weddings we recommend 12–18 months lead time.
Per wedding day, Golden Elephant delivers 400–800 edited images as a reportage — across Austria in Burgenland, Vienna, Lower Austria, Styria, and Carinthia. For Mallorca destination weddings with multi-day coverage, delivery expands to 600–1,200 images. As a rule of thumb, expect around 50 finished images per hour of coverage.
Standard coverage by Golden Elephant is 8–12 hours on the Austrian wedding day — from getting ready to opening the wedding dance floor. For Mallorca destination weddings with welcome dinner and after-wedding brunch, this expands to 2–3 days of coverage.
For weddings during peak season (May–October), we recommend 8–12 months lead time. If you are planning a three-day wedding (welcome dinner, ceremony, after-wedding shoot) or a destination wedding, 12 months are ideal — that gives us time for travel logistics and on-site location walk-throughs.
